When we moved to the Hampton Roads, Virginia area back in 2020, one of the first things we noticed was just how MANY incredibly talented creatives and entrepreneurs lived throughout the seven cities. As we got more involved with the arts scene we asked ourselves a few questions. In a growing region with a population of over 1 million-
Where are the opportunities for college students seeking a career in fashion or entertainment?
What is the local platform for independent models, music artists and designers to showcase their talent?
Who are the community leaders supporting and uplifting local artists and entrepreneurs on a large scale?
Unfortunately our search for answers led us to find very little. So we asked ourselves, how and when can we become the answer to all of these questions? The Foster Beauty Fashion Show was born!

The Purpose of Foster Beauty Features
We've received an overwhelming amount of support since our inaugural event and we want to continue expanding our reach and impact so that more creatives can gain experience for their career goals, get connected and be discovered. This blog (along with our YouTube series) will allow the world to learn more about the creative entrepreneurs and business owners that have participated in the Foster Beauty Fashion Show. This is a platform for them to share their stories and provide meaningful insight for individuals aspiring to follow in their footsteps.
